Myrtle Hensley

Mrs. Myrtle Hensley age 85, of Lily, KY passed away on Sunday morning at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was the daughter of the late Richard “Rich” Hensley and Sallie (Kincaid) Hensley born to them in Knox County on June 27, 1923.
Mrs. Hensley was a homemaker and a member of the Keck Baptist Church, she enjoyed growing flowers and tending to her garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Sallie, her first husband Bev Price, one son Wiley Stewart, and Three brothers, Bill Clarkston, Robert Hensley and Hubert Hensley, and one sister Samantha Frazier.
Survivors include: two sons John Henry Price & wife Rosa Jane of Lily, KY, and Richard Price and Beverly of Falmouth, KY. One daughter Sarah G. Huff of Cinn, Ohio. Four brothers James Earl Hensley of Bailey Hollow, KY, Alford Hensley & wife Genie of Bailey Hollow, KY, Eugene Hensley of Walton, KY, Eulus Hensley & wife Frances of Gray, KY, Three sisters Evelyn Brack of Erine, Tn, Lucille Ballinger of Barbourville, KY, Louise Phipps of Gray, KY, several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Hensley also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Myrtle Hensley will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jimmy Siler officiating. Pallbearers will be Richard Joseph Price, John H. Price, Rob Conister, Steven Huff, and Sarah Huff. Interment will be at the Jackson Cemetery with Hampton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home from 6 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 on Wednesday.
