Mrs. Ellen Smith, age 94 of Williamsburg {formerly of wollum} departed this life of Thursday-September 27, 2007 at her residence. She was born on August 10, 1913 in Oklahoma to the late Tucker Smith and Vina {Mills} Smith. Mrs Smith was the widow of Wilton Smith. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs Smith also liked to garden andĀ  listen to gospel music.







addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by son Elmer Smith four brothers



Denver Smith, Henry T. Smith, Joseph Smith and Clarence Smith and one sister Alice Smith.









Survivors include two sons Arvin Smith of Woolum and Wilton Junior Smith of Jellico, TN. Six



Daughters Shirley Mae Ponder of Owenton, KY, Kathleen Smith Jarvis and husband Luster of Jarvis,



KY, Vina Reynolds of Williamsburg, Nellie Wheat and husband Larry of Barbourville, Anna Brewer and



Husband Don of Barbourville and Wanda Fay Carter of Williamsburg, KY., and two sisters: Pearlie Mills



of Barbourville and Lavena Mills and husband Dallas of Cranes Nest, KY. 30 Grandchildren and 25



Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Smith also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.









Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Smith will be conducted on Saturday-September 29, 2007 at 2 PM



In the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William "Mann" Cobb and Rev. Paul Cooper officiating.



Pallbears will be Grandsons, family and friends. Interment will be at the Cottongim Cemetery at



Woolum, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
