Mr. Nickie Marse

Mr. Nickie Marsee age 62 of Gray passed away on Saturday, July 23rd, 20ll in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. He was the husband of Peggy Smith Marsee and the son of Charlie & Provie (Stamper) Marsee born to them on July 7th, 1949.
He was a former coal miner, and a member of the Brush Creek Community Church. In March 1979 he was united in marriage to Peggy Smith and to this union five children were born. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter Berna Jean Marsee, one sister Mildred Bernie, and three brothers Billy, Dennis, and Joe Marsee.
Nickie is survived by his wife Peggy of Gray, KY, his three sons Billy Ray Marsee of Gray, KY, Eddie Marsee of Barbourville, KY, and Teddy Marsee & wife Angela of Gray, KY. One daughter Barbara Gray & husband Chris of Barbourville, KY, three brothers Troy Marsee of Artemus, KY, Orville Marsee & wife Vickie of Kay Jay, KY, and Alfred Marsee & wife Nellie of Warren Camp, KY, three sisters Maxine Ross of Artemus, KY, Odell Wilson of Kay Jay, KY, and Janette Donaldson of Artemus, KY, four grandchildren Shyann Gray, Kristen Jones, Angel Marsee, and Jack Hamilton, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Marsee will be conducted on Tuesday - July 26th, 2011 @ 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Collins & Rev. Benny Pridemore officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Marsee, Tommy Marsee, Little Orville Marsee, Jordan Marsee, Charlie Marsee, Randy Wilson, Little Randy Wilson and Brad Ross. Burial will follow in the Tinsley Cemetery at Trosper. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
