Mrs. Mollie Bargo, age 79, of Heidrick, KY, passed away Thursday morning, September 25, 2014, in the Barbourville Nursing Home. She was the wife of Anthony Bargo, JR, and the daughter of the late Taylor and Amanda Mills Carnes, born to them on August 27, 1935, in Bright Shade, KY. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Ray Carnes and one sister, Geneva Hensley. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony Bargo, Jr, Heidrick, KY, one son, Danny Bargo and wife Kari Lisa, Corbin, KY, one daughter, Diane Youngs Bryant, and husband, Freddy, Corbin, KY, five grandchildren, Danielle Robinson and husband Jason, Indianapolis, Indiana, Bridgette Bargo, Indiana, Andy Youngs and wife Stephanie, Heidrick, KY, Spencer Bargo, Corbin, KY, and Siler Bargo, Corbin, KY, and two great-grandchildren, Eli Robinson and Delaney Robinson, Indianapolis, Indiana, one brother, Roy Carnes and wife Wanda, West Chester, Ohio, two sisters, Virgie Powell and Louise Evans, Norwood, Ohio, one sister-in-law, Bea Carnes, Norwood, Ohio, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mollie Bargo will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 27, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Dennis Chesnut officiating. Pallbearers will be Roy Carnes, Tim Evans, Andy Youngs, Spencer Bargo, Siler Bargo, and Freddy Bryant. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday, September 27, from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
