Mrs. Minnie Jackson age 90 of Barbourville, Ky. born June 25, 1917 passed away Friday-August 10, 2007 at the Knox Co. Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Dan Baker and Leadie Jane Hubbard. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: two daughters Mary Yeager and husband James Herbert of Bailey Switch and Glenda Sue Collins of Flat Lick; three sons Cecil Jackson and wife Ruth of Flat Lick, Earl Jackson and Fiancée Ritha Mills of Barbourville, and Paul Jackson and wife Dorothy of Corbin; one sister one Lily Merida of Barbourville. Mrs. Jackson also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Jackson will be conducted on Tuesday-August 14, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glen Collins and Rev. Jimmy Lee officiating. Pallbearers will be Jesse Lee Jackson, Paul Jr. Jackson, Earl Jackson, Danny Ray Grubb, Richard Dean Grubb, Matthew Woolum, Joseph Yeager and Adam Yeager. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Flat Lick, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
