Milford Young

Mr. Milford Eugene Young, age 74 of Barbourville, KY passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of Ethel (Walters) Young and the son of Raymond and Martha Young born to them on June 9, 1939 in Oneida, TN. Mr. Young was a sawmill operator and a woodworker.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Martha Young, one daughter, Sheila Young, four brothers, Ronald, Kenneth, Robert and Carlos Young.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Young of Barbourville, two sons, Larry Young and wife Jennifer and Phillip Young all of Artemus, two daughters, Wilma Young from Oneida TN and Loretta Lynn Hubbard and husband Bill of Flat Lick, two brothers, Billy Ray Young of Oneida, TN and Jamie Young of South Carolina, two sisters, Pearl and Shirley Young both of TN, five grandchildren, Norma, Tracy, Wendi, Elijah and Mary and three great grandchildren, Brianna, Ariel and Michael. Mr. Young also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Milford Young will be conducted at 12 noon on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 int the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roe Gibson and Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Oak Cemetery in Oneida, TN. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Monday at the Hampton Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 noon.
