Mrs. Mildred B. Hibbard age 70, of Lagrange, KY, formerly of Knox County departed this life on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of Paris Vernon Hibbard and the daughter of Huey & Della Mae (Smallwood) Mason born to them on April 11th, 1940.
Mildred was a homemaker, and a former factory worker, and a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church, she enjoyed shopping, cleaning house, watching T.V. especially (Scooby-doo) and playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents Huey & Della Mae Mason, two sisters Myrtle Ward, and baby Unice Mason, two brother-in-laws George Gibson, and Albert Dawson.
Left behind to mourn her passing is her husband Paris Vernon Hibbard, two sons Gary Hibbard, and Roger Hibbard, one daughter Jeri Lou Just & husband Donald all of Lagrange, KY. Three brothers Ledford Mason & wife Martha of Franklin, Ohio, Ray Mason & wife Juanita of Bimble, KY, and Kelly Mason & wife Gloria of Franklin, Ohio, Four sisters June Gibson of Raleigh, N.C. , Thelma Hush of Cincinnati, Ohio, Shirley Dawson of Franklin, Ohio and Joann Jackson & husband Wendell of Heidrick, KY. Seven Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Hibbard will be conducted on Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 @ 12:00 noon in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Shelton, and Rev. Sylvester Dunn officiating. Pallbearers will be Erick Hibbard, Derrick Hibbard, Brandon Just, Roger Dale Hibbard, Jr, Gary Lynn Hibbard, and Roger Dale Hibbard,Sr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nephews. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery at Corbin, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at noon.
