Michael Jones

Mr. Michael David Jones age 37 of Girdler, KY passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010. He was the son of Harold & Bobbie Jean (Callihan) Jones born to them on March 24th, 1973 in Knox County.
Mr. Jones was a member of the Greenroad Baptist Church, and enjoyed playing ball, and watching his favorite football team the New York Giants.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Jones, and one brother Kenny Jones.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his mother Bobbie Jean (Callihan) Jones of Girdler, Amy and daughter, Kayla Lynn Jones, two brothers Sam Jones & wife Gina, and Rastus and Dwonna both of Greenroad, KY, a sister-in-law Missy Jones, Five nieces Samantha, Katie, Kayla, Allie, and Kelsey, and one nephew Justin, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be conducted on Monday, October 11th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Carmack and Rev. David Barnard officiating. Pallbearers will be Jr Chadwell, Carlie Chadwell, Chris Chadwell, Jamey Jones, B.J. Baker, Justin Sizemore, Matt Jones, and Craig Merida. Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Ray Hensley, Gregg Fisher, Ricky Crawford, James Smith, Ronnie Smith, Bill Smith, Greg McDonald, James Paul Jones, Darryl Bargo, Joey Harris, and Rodney Harris. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Greenroad. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday- October 10th, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
