Mr. Michael Dewayne Gambrel, age 30 of Flat Lick, KY departed this life on Saturday, August 31, 2013. He was the husband of Peggy Sue (Jones) Gambrel and the son of Tim Gray and Debra Gambrel born to them on July 5, 1983 in Whitley Co. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Olivia Hibbard and a brother, James Gambrel.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Gambrel of Flat Lick, two sons, Payton Michael Jones of London and Tristan Hibbard of Dewitt, one daughter, Madison Hibbbard of Smokey and one sister Angela Gambrel of Girdler, KY. Michael also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Michael Dewayne Gambrel will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2:00 p..m with Rev. Billy Stewart officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Gambrel Cemetery at Himyar. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
