Miss Mary Lou Sprinkles age 63 of Barbourville departed this life on Friday, November 07, 2014 in the Christian Health Care Center in Corbin. She was born on November 17, 1950 in Barbourville the daughter of Creed and Lucy (Broughton) Sprinkles. Mary Lou was a member of the Parkway Baptist Church and attended the Christian Fellowship Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Creed and Lucy Sprinkles, a brother Bobby Glen Sprinkles and her adopted mother & grandmother Ellen Sprinkles.
Left behind to mourn her passing her uncle Carnell Sprinkles and wife Joann of Barbourville, aunts Thelma Burch and husband Frank of Newburg, Maryland, and Amanda Ellen Sprinkles and husband Ralph of Ohio, special cousins, Charles Sprinkles and wife Gail, Kelly Sprinkles and wife Amy, Courtney Sprinkles, Carley Sprinkles, Austin Sprinkles, Alex Sprinkles and Clay Sprinkles all of Barbourville. She also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mary Lou Sprinkles will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Johnson and Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Pallbearers will be Austin Sprinkles, Alex Sprinkles, Clay Sprinkles, Larry Martin, Terry Smith and Billy Ray Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Christian Health Care Center. Burial will follow in the Betty Frost Cemetery at Woolum, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 5:30 until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
