Mrs. Mary Louise Helton, age 68, of Gray, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in the St. Joseph Hospital, London. She was the widow of Eulas Helton, and the daughter of the late John and Geraldine Huff, born to them on September 18, 1944, in Harlan County, KY. She was also preceded in death by one son, Earl Dean Helton, one daughter, Loretta Hubbard, and one brother, Jimmy Huff. Mrs. Helton was a member of the Southeastern Baptist Temple and enjoyed sewing, cooking, canning, gardening and flowers.
Left to mourn her passing are five daughters, Pearly Helton, Somerset, KY, Dollie Taylor and husband Bob, Corbin, KY, Mary Hamilton and husband Eddie, Sadieville, KY, Sandy Helton, Barbourville, KY, and Sendy Messer and husband Preston, Barbourville, KY, two stepsons, Eulas Lee Helton and wife Brenda, and Glen Helton and wife Linda, one brother, Joe Bill Huff, Florida, and one sister, Joy Woodall, Georgia, fifteen grandchildren, Bridgit Rogers, Alyssha Bright, Danny Hubbard, Alvin Hubbard, Robert Hammons, Edward Hamilton, Jr., Faith Hamilton, Mercadies Gray, Loretta Helton, Mary Messer, Elijah Messer, Eulas Helton, William Helton, James Helton, and Elizabeth Helton, five great grandchildren, SeraPhina Rogers, Hunter Hubbard, Brooklyn Hubbard, Brentlee Hensley, and Eli Garrison, and one son-in-law, Danny Wayne Hubbard, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Louise Helton will be conducted in the chapel of the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday, June 24,2013, at 12:00 p.m., with the Rev. Mike Griffiths officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery, Bailey Switch, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends will be received on Saturday from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 p.m.
