Mrs. Mary Stacy Fields age 66 of Girdler, KY passed away on Thursday night April 19, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of Jay Fields and the daughter of the late John L. & Ema Mills born to them in Knox County on October 17th, 1945.
Mary was a member of the Beech Springs Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Angela Fields, two brothers Arnold Mills and Vernon Mills, one sister Jeanetta Patterson, a brother-in-law Jim Carter, two sister-in-laws June Mills and Jennie Mills.
Left behind to mourn her passing is her husband Joseph Samuel Fields (Jay) of Girdler, KY, one son Joseph Samuel Fields Jr. (Joey) & wife Heather of Berea, KY, one daughter Charlotte Elking & husband Sean of Owenton, KY, four brothers R.J. Mills & wife Oda Mae of Girdler, Farmer C. Mills & wife Evelyn of Boone Height, John L. Mills, Jr. & wife Linda of Girdler, and Clark Mills & wife Jamie of Girdler, four sisters Georgia Carter of Barbourville, Nadine Elliott & husband Lonnie of Barbourville, and Lena Garrison & husband Wayne of Woolum, and Geneda Garland of Barbourville, one grandson Cayden Fields. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Stacy Fields will be conducted on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Smith, Rev. Alvin Dunn and Rev. David Daniels. Pallbearers will be Nephews, Pat mills, Billy Mills, Tommy Mills, Steve Garrison, Keith Elliott, Johnny Elliott, Rodney Blair, Sean Garrison, Wayne Mills, Roger Mills, Ricky Mills, Greg Elliott, Harold Mills, Larry Mills, Gary Mills, Justin Patterson and Don Mills. Honorary Pallbearers are family & friends. Burial will follow in the Carnes Cemetery at Baughman, Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
