Mr. Marvin Dewayne Brown age 30, of Scalf, KY passed away Thursday December 4, 2008 in the Knox County Hospital. He was born on December 2, 1978 in Knox County the son of Larry Wayne and Thelma (Hobbs) Brown. He was of the Baptist faith and he loved old cars and trucks. He is preceded in death by his father Larry Wayne Brown.
Survivors include his mother Thelma Brown of Scalf, KY, three daughters Mackenzie Lea Brown, Jasmine Nichole Brown and Chloe Lane Brown all of Middlesboro, KY, one brother Kenneth Dewayne Brown and wife Charlotte of Scalf, KY and one sister Arlene Wilson and husband Danny Thomas Wilson of Pineville, KY. Mr. Brown also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Marvin Dewayne Brown will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Sunday-November 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dale Johnson and Rev. Matt Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the John’s Branch Cemetery at Scalf, KY. Pallbearers will be Wendell Hobbs, Eddie Wayne Mills, Travis Mills, Danny Thomas Wilson, Jason Mills, Jerry Wayne Hobbs and Kenneth Wayne Brown. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. The family will receive friends at Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
