Mariah Douglas

Mrs. Mariah Douglas, age 72 of Barbourville, KY. departed this life on Saturday July 12, 2014 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Myrtle Lee Newman. She was a Nurses Aid and Factory worker and a member of the Heidrick Pentacostal Church. In addition to her parents, Mariah was also preceded in death by four sisters; Edith Millirons, Jean Green and her husband Bob, Ruth Baker and Neva Russ and her Husband Edward and one brother Carl Newman and his wife Edith.
Survivors include her Husband Robert Tony Douglas of Barbourville and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends left to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mariah Douglas will be conducted in the chapel of the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Doolin-Tuggle cemetery at Heidrick.
The Douglas family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 11 am until the hour of service at 2 pm. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
