Mrs. Margaret Catherine Trosper age 66 of Newport, KY , formerly of Knox County, passed away Wednesday October 8, 2008 at the Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport, KY. She was born on March 28, 1942 in Knox County to George and Allie Mae (Collins) Trosper. She was baptized at Trosper Church of Christ where she was also a member. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Allie Mae Collins Trosper, two sisters, Lucille and Juanita, seven brothers Junior, James Lee, Howard, Luke, Quince, Lee and Andrew.
Survivors include six brothers; Charles of Barbourville, Ky, Bill of Portage, Indiana, Garnett of Griffith, Indiana, Thomas of Gray, KY, Jim D. of Corbin, KY and Jesse B. of Jonesboro, Arkansas and two sisters, Eva of Florence, KY and Wilma of Walton, KY. Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Catherine Trosper will be on Friday October 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Hone Chapel with Rev. Ricky Broughton officiating. Burial will follow in the Trosper Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m.
