Mrs. Margaret Lynn Cain Bruce, age 62, of Barbourville, KY, departed this life on Monday, November 5, 2012, in the St. Joseph Hospital of London. She was the wife of Lonnie Bruce, and the daughter of Billy B. Cain and Dorothy J. Messer Cain, born to them on April 13, 1950, in Pineville, KY. She was a member of the Christian Life Fellowship Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Bruce, Barbourville, KY; her parents, Billy B. and Dorothy Cain, Barbourville, KY; seven children, Lonnie Ray Bruce and wife Michelle, Barbourville, KY, Stephanie Lynn Vaughn and husband Eddie, Richmond, KY, John Hinkle and wife Lisa, Corbin, KY, Maggie Smith and fiancé Larry, Barbourville, KY, James Art Hinkle and wife Heather, Corbin, KY, Kristi McGrael and husband Jonathan, Atlanta, GA, and Larry Hinkle and wife Kelli, Barbourville, KY; a special friend, John "Baldy" King whom she loved as a child, twenty-one grandchildren, Megan McDonald, Shane Hinkle, Alex Hinkle, Christian Bruce and wife Whitney, Cain Smith, Micah McDonald, Kaitlyn Frazier, Elijah Vaughn, Kamden Smith, Bronson Roaden, Connor Bruce, Peyton Hinkle, Sydney Vaughn, Hayven Hinkle, Hunter Hinkle, Makayla Hinkle, Zoe Hale, Sarah Beth Hinkle, Noah Bruce, Mason Bruce and Sophia Roberts; two brothers, Larry Grant Cain, Barbourville, KY, and Billy Cain and wife Donna, Barbourville, KY; father and mother-in-law, Gale Bruce and wife Virgie, Barbourville, KY; a special sister-in-law, Tammy Bruce a beloved aunt, Vinnia Lou Messer Warren; six nieces and nephews, Joshua Cain, Danielle Bridgewater, Zack Cain, Donovan Cain, Billy R. Cain, and Stephanie Cain Napier; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Bruce will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 8, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. David Shelton, Rev. Rick Partin, and Father Donavan officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons of Mrs. Bruce. Honorary pallbearers will be all Best Western staff - past and present. Mrs. Bruce will be laid to rest in the Bruce Cemetery at Barbourville. The family would like to send a special thanks to Jimmy Mays, and all the doctors, nurses, and staff of the St. Joseph Hospital, London. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
