Mrs. Louanna Payne age 55 of Flat Lick, KY departed this life on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at her home. She was the daughter of Harmon Payne and Retha (Brown) Payne born to them on January 4, 1953 in Knox Co., KY. Mrs. Payne was a Jehovah Witness and a member of the Kingdom Hall in Barbourville, KY.
Survivors include her parents Harmon and Retha Payne of Flat Lick, KY two sons Gary Payne of Flat Lick, KY and Harmon Eugene Payne of Trosper, KY, one sister Jackie Denny and husband Donald of FL, two brothers Jr. Ray Payne and wife Kim of Heidrick, KY and Cecil Harmon Payne of Bucyrus, OH. Mrs. Payne also leaves behind one grandchild Kyle Jackson in addition to a host of friends and neighbors to mourn her passing. Services for Mrs. Payne will be conducted on Saturday – March 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Doug Vernon officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
