Mrs. Loretta Magee age 62 of Barbourville, KY departed this life on Saturday morning, November 5th, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of William (Bill) Magee and the daughter of Whitley & Marie (Smith) Jordan of Knox County born to them on July, 3rd, 1949.
Loretta believed in the Baptist faith and was a member of the Mills Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father Whitley Jordan, one brother Leroy Jordan, and one sister Judy Jordan.
Left behind to mourn her passing is her mother Marie Jordan her husband William "Bill" Magee , one son Derrick Douglas Bright, two step-sons Brandon Magee & wife Krista of Barbourville, KY, and Jeremy Magee of Barbourville, KY, four brothers Whitley Jr, & wife Carol of Baughman, KY, Cloyd Jordan and Paul Jordan both of Zeeland, MI, and Jerry Jordan and wife Joyce of Hinkle, KY, three sisters June Brown & husband Robert of Bimble, KY, Janice Roark & husband Lester of London, KY, and Mary Lynn Honeycutt of Hinkle, KY, one grandchildren Kally J. Magee , plus a host of other relatives' and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Loretta Magee will be conducted on Sunday, November 6th, 2011 @ 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rev. Bobby Lawson & Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Pallbearers will be family. Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of the Bluegrass. Burial will follow in Magee Cemetery of Wynn Hollow Road. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
