Mrs. Lorene Elliott age 72 of Barbourville departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in the Rockcastle Regional Medical Center in Mt. Vernon. She was born on February 14, 1942 in Knox Co. and was the daughter of Tom and Margaret (Henson) Garland.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Elliot, her parents, Tom and Margaret Garland, two brothers, and one sister.
Left behind to mourn her passing, three sons, Roy Elliott and wife Jessie of Manchester, KY, Mike Elliott and wife Joyce of Corbin, KY and Larry Elliott and wife Tonya of Elizabethtown, TN, one daughter, Annette Maggard and husband Jason of London, KY, two brothers, Robert Garland and wife Cordia and James Garland and wife Adeline all of Chicago, Illinois, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
There will be no funeral service for Mrs. Elliott. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening at the Hampton Funeral Home from 6:00 until 9:00p.m.
