Mr. Lonnie Kidwell, age 51 of Corbin, Ky. was born December 28, 1955 and departed this life on Wednesday June 13, 2007 in the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
He was the son of Frank and Dexter Mae (Hubbs) Kidwell Mr. Kidwell believed in the Baptist faith and was self employed in the mobile home business. He had earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Joey Carter and one brother Frank Kidwell Jr. Survivors include two daughters Jennifer Renee Bogard and husband Mark of Franklin, TN, Katharine Leann Kidwell of Jefferson City, TN, two sons David Kidwell of Cincinnati, OH, Kristopher Andrew Kidwell of Jefferson City, TN, one grand-daughter Sara Kate Bogard, four sisters, Billie Hubbs of Louisville, KY, Mary Monhollen of Gray, KY, Louise Carter and husband Robert of Gray, KY, Maxine Keller of Berea, KY, one brother, Joe Michael Kidwell and wife Peggy of Louisville, KY and his special companion his dog Sassy. Lonnie also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Lonnie Kidwell will be conducted on Saturday June 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Foley Cemetery at Indian Creek. Pallbearers will be David Kidwell, Kris Kidwell, Robert Carter, Randy Carter, Richard Carter, and Brad Jenkins. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
