Mr. Lonnie Dale Fuson age 65 of Corbin, KY passed away on Monday - February 6, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Sonya (Bradley) Fuson and the son of the late John C. & Audrey (McCrarey) Fuson of Bell County born to them on May 27, 1946.
Mr. Fuson believed in the Baptist faith and formerly attended the West Pineville Baptist Church. Mr. Fuson was a Veteran of the United States Army, a Kentucky State Trooper and Detective from where he retired after 20 years of service. He was currently the coordinator for the Knox county 911. His favorite hobby was fishing.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers David (Pete) Fuson and Johnny Fuson.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife Sonya Fuson of Corbin, KY, one son Rick Fuson of Corbin, KY, one daughter Carla Hamilton & husband Daniel of London, KY, and one sister Patsy Hughes of Michigan. Three grandchildren Zachary Bentley, Alec Hamilton, and Alyssa Hamilton. Plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Fuson will be conducted on Friday, February 10, 2012 @ 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Pallbearers will be Kentucky State Police from post 10. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens at Middlesboro. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
