Lizzie Kelly

Mrs. Lizzie Marie Kelly, age 59 of Barbourville, Ky. departed this life on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 in the Rockcastle Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ky. She was born on July 9, 1947 the daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Barley) Smith and was the wife of Ivan G. Kelly. Mrs. Kelly believed in the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Brandon Kelly, two brothers, Arthur and Bobby Smith and one sister, Eula Mae Peace.
Survivors include:
Her husband: Ivan Kelly of Barbourville
One Son: Colin Kelly also of Barbourville
One Daughter: Sherry Broughton and husband Ernest of Cannon, Ky.
Two brothers: Michael & Earnest Smith both of Corbin
Two Sisters: Beatrice Fisher and Mildred Davis both of Barbourville
Five Grandchildren: Ernest Anthony Broughton, Gabriel Broughton, Christina Broughton, Anthony Broughton and Carlie Baker
Mrs. Kelly also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Kelly will be conducted on Friday December 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Dean Brougton and Rev. Johnathon Lawson officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery at Girdler, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
