Lillie Bernice Williamson

Lillie Bernice Wilson Williamson departed this life on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at her home, being 74 years, 2 months and 9 days of age. She was born in Dewitt, Kentucky on January 28, 1942 to the late Earnest Ray Wilson and the late Sarah Lester Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: James Saunders, Clarence Saunders, Ray Wilson, Jerry Saunders and John Saunders; her sisters Beulah Malone and Ludena Smith. She loved to garden and had some of the most beautiful flowers. Lillie loved to take care of people; she often cooked and baked for her friends and neighbors. She had a great affection for her cats, taking in several different strays and giving them a good home.

Lillie leaves behind to mourn her passing one brother: Delmer Saunders of Maysville, Kentucky; three sisters: Shirley Sue Saunders of Portsmouth, Ohio, Nancy Harper of Hudson, Michigan and Patty Bingham of Dewitt, Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Lillie's life will be conducted on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00PM in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Warren providing words of comfort. The family will received friends Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 12:00PM until the funeral hour at Hampton Funeral Home.
