Mrs. Lillie Mae Jackson age 79 of Gray, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at her home. She was the daughter of Tom Peavley and Frankie (Ballsinger) Peavley born to them on January 1, 1940 in Gray, KY. She united in marriage with Harold Edward Jackson and to this union two children were born. She was a member of the Keck Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband along with two brothers, Bobby and Gary Peavley.

Left behind to mourn her passing, her loving children, her daughter Robyn Johnson and husband Keith and her son Timothy Jackson and wife Lenell, three grandchildren, Derek Johnson and wife Katie, Daniel Johnson and Ashlee Johnson all of Gray, two brothers, Jimmy Peavley and wife Barbara of Ohio and Tommy Peavley and wife Dena of London, Kentucky, five sisters, Maxine Anderson, Hazel Owens and husband Dale, all of Gray, Kentucky, Margie Benge of Georgetown, Kentucky, Barbara Warren and husband Bill of Corbin, Kentucky, and Bonnie Hubbs and husband Russ of Gray, Kentucky. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

A graveside service for Mrs. Lillie Mae Jackson will be conducted on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Doolin Cemetery at Heidrick with Reverend Tony Jackson officiating.  Pallbearers will be Keith Johnson, Derek Johnson, Pete Moore, Aaron Clark, Jacob Graeler and Charles Conine. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Johnson.  All family and friends are invited to meet at the cemetery at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the Gideon’s International in memory of Lillie.
