Rev. Leroy Warren, age 59, of Flat Lick, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at his home. He was the husband of Judy Parsons Warren, and the son of the late Roy and Mary Mills Warren, born to them on April 7, 1953, in Knox County, KY. Rev. Warren was a member of the Free Spirit Baptist Church and enjoyed old cars, being with his wife Judy, his family and grandson, and loved life in general.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil and Danny, and one sister, Faye.
Left behind to mourn his passing are the following members of his family: His wife Judy; two sons, Scotty Roy Warren and wife Kristie, Cannon, KY, and Rodney Dewayne Warren, Dewitt, KY; one grandson, Benjamin Roy Warren; three brothers, Ronnie Warren, Bimble, KY, Johnny Warren and wife Judy, Flat Lick, KY, and Donnie Warren and wife Daisy, Bimble, KY; three sisters, Marie Broughton Mahan , Bimble, KY, Hazel King and husband Allen, Barbourville, KY, and Emily of Ohio; his Father-in-law, Ralph Parsons, Middlesboro, KY; brother-in-law, Ralph Parsons, Jr. and wife Marlene, Middlesboro, KY; nephews Eric Parsons and wife Brianna, Middlesboro, KY, Wesley Parsons, Richmond, KY, and one great- niece, Emily Grace, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Rev. Leroy Warren will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Smith, Rev. Stoney Brown, and Rev. Kennon Roark officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery at Road Fork, KY.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18, from 6:00-9:00 p.m., on Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m.
