Leroy Hubbard

Mr. Leroy Hubbard, age 64, of Walker, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, in the Pineville Community Hospital. He was the husband of Wilma Lee Jackson Hubbard, and the son of the late James and Bertha Gambrel Hubbard, born to them on May 14, 1948, in Knox County, KY. Mr. Hubbard was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a grandson, Brent Nathaniel Williamson.
Survivors of Mr. Hubbard include his wife, Wilma Lee Jackson Hubbard, three daughters, Tonya Matlock and husband James, Barbourville, KY, Lisa Hubbard of Walker, KY, and Stacy Brown and fiancée' Bradley, Scalf, KY., four grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Michaela Brown, Sabrina Elliott, and David Elliot, one brother, Willie B. Hubbard and wife Francis, Arjay, KY, one sister, Julia Holland, Arjay, KY, one niece, Teresa Caldwell, and two nephews Roy Lee and David Ray Holland, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Leroy Hubbard will be conducted in the chapel of the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday, February 2, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. A.Y. Mills and Rev. Bud Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery, at Acorn Fork. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home Thursday evening from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., Friday, from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour or service at 2:00 p.m.
