Mr. Lenville Deaton, age 55 of Girdler, Ky departed this life on Saturday, January 05, 2008 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center at Corbin. He was born in Knox County, Kentucky on January 13, 1952. Mr. Deaton believed in the Holiness faith and was a member of the Hughes Hill Holiness Church. He loved to farm especially working in tobacco, working on old cars, he loved to garden, cut timber and do carpenter work.
Survivors include: His wife Bessie Stewart Deaton of Girdler, Ky., his parents Jim James Deaton and Louise Messer Deaton both of Girdler,Ky,. three sons Eddie Wayne Deaton and wife Crystal, Rodney Dale Deaton and wife Norma, Jamie Randall Deaton and wife Sarah all of Girdler,Ky., one daughter Linda Michelle Deaton Hinkle and husband Charlie of Girdler,Ky., three brothers David Deaton and wife Betty, Bobby Ray Deaton and wife Trenna Marie and Michael Wayne Deaton and wife Mary all of Girdler,Ky., five sisters Wilma Cobb and husband Clifford Allen of Rockholds, Ky., Margaret Ann Rapier and husband Herman of Woodbine, Ky,. Frances Carol Reynolds and husband Robert of Cannon, Ky., Mary Lynn May and husband G.C. of Girdler, Ky., Kathleen Chadwell and husband Cleven of London, Ky., Four grandchildren Travis Deaton, Devin Deaton, Angle Hinkle and Shirl Lynn deaton. Funeral services for Mr. Lenville Deaton will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Hughes Hill Holiness Church with Rev. John Whitehead and Rev. D.Y. Mays officiating. Pallbearers will be Doug Bargo, Ray Reynolds, Robert Tip Reynolds, Paul Rapier, Benny Hinkle, Terry France, Johnny France and Charlie Hinkle. Honorary Pallbearers will be Herman Rapier, Allen Cobb, Kenneth Benge,Donnie Price, Keith France, Albert France and Beve France.Burial will be in the Deaton Family Cemetery at Girdler. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements. Read Sunday: Friends will be received at the Hughes Hill Holiness Church from 6:00 p.m. Sunday until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday Read Monday: Friends will be received any time today until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hughes Hill Holiness Church. Read Tuesday: Friends will be received any time today until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. at Hughes Hill Holiness Church.
