Lena Jones Garland, age 62, of Cannon, KY passed away Friday morning at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was the mother of Melinda Kay Garland and friend Ricky Price, Sharon Messer and friend Charlie Smith, and Marsha Barton and fiancée Tracy Dillon all of Cannon, the grandmother of James Dalton Price of Cannon and the sister of Arvil Jones and his wife Carolyn of Hamilton, Ohio, Lorene Helton of Corbin, and Zella Gray and husband Clinton of Girdler, KY
Lena was preceded in death by her husband James Allen Garland, her parents Robert and Ethel Keene Jones, siblings Clifton Jones, Jason Jones, Robert Jones Jr., Eleck Jones, Clark Jones, Charles Ray Jones, Jewell Hibbard, Hester Carnes, Etura Moore, and Marie Jones.
Funeral services for Lena Jones Garland will be conducted on Monday November 14, at 2PM with Tommy Frazier and Vernon Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Garland Cemetery at Cannon. The family will receive friends from 5-9 PM Sunday at the Hampton Funeral Home
