Lee Mills

Mr. Lee H. Mills, age 84 of Winchester, KY departed this life on Sunday March 15, 2009 at his home. He was the son of Sollie and Mellie Matting Mills born to them on April 5, 1924 and was the husband of Helen Smith Mills. Mr. Mills was a retired Chrysler employee and a member of the United Auto Worker Association. He was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church in Winchester. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sollie & Mellie Mills.
Those left behind to mourn his passing are his loving wife, Helen Mills of Winchester, KY, one daughter Velma Frankie Bundy, a step daughter Winifred Price of Winchester, KY, three brothers, Ben Mills and wife Rosie of Dayton, Ohio, Jim Ed Mills and Clarence Mills both of Corbin, KY, two sisters, Elizabeth Mills of Scalf, KY and Sarah Baker of Barbourville, KY, three grandchildren, Michelle Michael and Sean and four great grandchildren Trevor, Joshua Cody and one very special great grandchild, Roy. Mr. Mills also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Lee Mills will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jimmy Muncie officiating. Pallbearers will be Sean Seglar, Jerry Baker, Clifford Mills, Roger Mills, Jr. Randall Carnes, George R. Smith, Robert Cooper, Ricky Mills. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Mills, Herliss Mills and Roy Seglar. Mr. Mills will be laid to rest in the Long Tom Mills Cemetery at Scalf, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
