Larry Van Daniels

Mr. Larry Van Daniels age 73 of Corbin, KY departed this life on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was the husband of Mary (Reynolds) Daniels and the son of Crit Daniels and Gladys (Downey) Smith. He was born on May 8, 1940 in Middlesboro, KY. Mr. Daniels was a member of the US Army National Guard for eight years and had been a truck driver for Ryder Integrated Logistics.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Crit and Gladys and a daughter Tammy Kay Daniels.
Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife Mary of Corbin, a son Larry W. Daniels and wife Debbie and a daughter Terseia Robinson and husband Jimmy all of Corbin, five grandchildren, Larry Travis Daniels, Casey Dewayne Daniels, Shantana Williams, Kashawna Daniels and Shasta Nicole Robinson, three great, great grandchildren, Rebecca Grace Daniels, Eli Daniels and Hunter Williams, three brothers, Danny Daniels and wife Karen of Baughman, Wendell Daniels and wife Patricia of Flat Lick and Bill Daniels and wife Loretta of Barbourville, one sister Lois Hubbard and husband Ellis of Barbourville. Mr. Daniels also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Larry Daniels will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Rice and Rev. Jimmy Helton officiating. Pallbearers will be, H.M. Callihan, Jr., Donnie Mabe, Casey Daniels, Travis Daniels, Steve Cornn and Aaron Cornn. Burial will follow in the Dozier Cemetery at Bimble, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
