Kennie Smith

Mr. Kennie Ray Smith, age 42, of Barbourville, Kentucky the son of L.C. And Doris Smith was born in Bell County on June 27, 1965 and Departed this life at his home on Wednesday September 24, 2008. Kennie believed in the Holiness Faith, he enjoyed riding four wheelers and animals especially his dog Minnie.

Survivors include his wife Judy Smith, Barbourville, Kentucky, his parents L. C. and Doris Smith, Bimble, Kentucky; one sister, Joann Pope and husband, Bill of Winchester, Kentucky; two Brothers, Calvin Smith and wife Perry, Pineville, Kentucky and Gary Lee Smith, Bimble, Kentucky; one Niece, Jennifer Smith; Six Nephews, Anthony Smith, William Pope, Trinity Tuttle Smith, Aaron Pope, Jordan Tyler Smith,and Jacob D .Smith, his mother in law, Elsie Fisher of Barbourville and two step children, Lelah Hicks and Travis Hicks both of Rockport, MO. Kenneth Wayne also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral Services for Kennie will be conducted on Saturday –September 27, 2008 at 2:00p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roe Gibson and Rev. Shawn Allen officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Anthony Smith, William Pope, Eric Pope, Bill Pope and Calvin Smith. Interment will be in the Van Cemetery at Artemus. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements. Friends may call after 6:00 pm.  on Friday at on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
