Kenneth Hunter Shelton, infant son of James Edward Shelton and Amelia Christina Shelton, was born on March 26, 2013, and passed away in the Knox County Hospital on Sunday, April 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Junior Burnett.
Survivors of Kenneth Hunter Shelton include his parents, two brothers, Ethan Routt, Flat Lick, KY and James Shelton, Flat Lick, KY, and one sister, Ariana Shelton, Flat Lick, KY, his paternal grandparents, James Shelton, Albany, KY, and Patricia Shelton, Bimble, KY, and his maternal grandmother, Naomi Eldridge, Jonesville, VA, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Kenneth Hunter Shelton will be conducted in the chapel of the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Jeff Sturdivant officiating. Burial will follow in the Tanyard Cemetery, Barbourville, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
