Mr. Kenneth Lipke, age 64 of Artemus, Ky. departed this life on Thursday, July 26, 2007 in the Knox Co. Hospital. He was the son of the late Fred and Mildred Bovair Lipke born to them on April 20, 1943 in Detroit Michigan. Kenneth was a Super pave Bituminous Lab Technician for Elmo Greer and Sons.
Survivors include his wife Lorene Lipke: two daughters Jule Rutledge and husband Stanley of Apple Grove, and Lisa Lipke of Artemus. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters: three grandchildren Nick Dozier Lipke, Sarah Stamper, and Bonnie Davis: four great grandchildren Mikyla, Mallory, Magan, and Joel: two brother in laws Donnie and Lonnie Warren. One very special niece and nephew Shannon and Roy Smith: one lifelong friend John and his wife Nancy Lang and a host of other nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing. Funeral Services for Kenneth Lipke will be conducted at 2PM Friday at the Hampton Funeral Home with Tommy Warren officiating burial will follow in the Hutchinson Cemetery in Barbourville.
