Mr. Kenneth Ray Jarvis, age 25 of Flat Lick, Ky., departed this life on Thursday March 6, 2008 in the Knox County Hospital. He was born in Bell Co., KY on June 12, 1982 and the son of Kenneth Jarvis and Tina Owens Mr. Jarvis was a member of the Concord Baptist Church.
Mr. Jarvis is preceded in death by his grandparents Ray Owens and Caleb Jarvis, Jr. Those left behind to mourn his passing are his parents Kenneth Jarvis of Flat Lick, KY and Tina Owens of Barbourville, KY, grandparents Alberta and John Brown of Flat Lick, KY and Violet Owens of Owens Hollow, KY, one brother Caleb and three sisters Kimberly, Kendra and MaKayla. He also leaves behind a host of many other relatives friends and neighbors to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Jarvis will be conducted on Sunday-March 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Sowders officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be all his fraternity brothers. Burial will follow in the Amis & Bargo Cemetery at Flat Lick, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Family will receive friends Saturday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m.
