Kenneth France

Mr. Kenneth France age 62 of Bryant Store, KY passed away on Tuesday – December 16, 2008 at his home. He was the widower of Debbie France and the son of Ardell & Onia (Howard) France of Harlan County. Mr. France was a former coal miner & construction worker, he enjoyed listening to gospel music, four wheeling, gardening, and making people laugh. Mr. France believed in the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Ardell & Onie France, one son Carnell France, and four brothers, Harold France, Francis France, Rance Bowling & Ermance Johnson.

Survivors include, Three sons Jerry France, Terry France, and Kenny France, two daughters, Ann Marie France and Onie France, four brothers Billy Bowling & wife Ann of Pineville, KY, Mike Bowling & wife Linda of Harlan, KY, Gene France & wife Sharon of Florida and Arvil Gene France of Cortez, Florida, one sister Joy Belcher and husband Rev. Herspel Belcher of Stoney Fork, KY and a half sister Faye Partin of Williamsburg. Mr. France also leaves behind best friends Coleman Trosper, Mary Purdy, and Clinton Jones along with a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. France will be conducted on Friday, December 19.2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herspel Belcher officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in the Trosper family cemetery at Bryant Store. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.  The family will receive family & friends at Hampton Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m.
