Mr. Kenneth Gilbert Brock age 61 of Greenroad, KY departed this life on Saturday-October 13, 2007 at his home. He was born in Knox Co., Ky. on December 5, 1945 and was the son of Steve and Minnie (Mills) Brock. He was saved and believed in the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Minnie, three sisters, Lucille Smith, Bertha Hicks and Marie Margison and two brothers, James Brock and Steven Chris Brock.
Left behind to mourn his passing: Two sisters, Hester Smith and the late J.C. Smith of Woolum, Ky. and Edna Hicks of Manchester, KY, two step-sons, Jeffrey and James, Jr. along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Gilbert Brock will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. William “Mann” Cobb and Rev. David Swafford officiating. Pallbearers will be, nephews, family & friends. Honorary pallbearers will be, G.C. Trent, Vernon Trent and Frank Disney. Burial will follow in the Brock family cemetery at Woolum. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
