Mrs. Juanita Hubbard Baker, age 37, of Flat Lick, Kentucky passed away Friday at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Juanita was the daughter of the late Leon Hubbard and Gussie Hubbard born to them on August 26, 1970 in the Pineville Community Hospital. Juanita was a member of the Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Juanita loved to help out at the East Knox Voluntary Fire Department and work at the Daniel Boone Festival. Her farther Leon Hubbard, two brothers Wendell Hubbard and Randall Hubbard and one sister Patsy Gray preceded Juanita in death
Survivors include her husband Aubrey Baker of Flat Lick, KY, her mother Gussie Hubbard of Flat Lick, KY, two sons Adam Dewayne Baker and Austin Daniel Baker both of Flat Lick, KY, one daughter Nichola Renee’ Baker of Flat Lick, KY, two brothers Ronnie Gray, Perry Junior Gray and wife Cindy all of Flat Lick, KY, three sisters Lodena Wells and husband Jimmy of Flat Lick, KY, Sheila Jones and husband Samuel F. of Flat Lick, KY and Loretta Hubbard of Pineville, KY one grandchild Bailey Alyssa Baker eighteen nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Baker will be conducted on Tuesday February 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Turkey Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Cleo Goodlet and Rev. Bill Stewart officiating. Pallbearers will be East Knox Voluntary Fire Department members. Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews and friends. Burial will follow at the Baker-Roark Cemetery at Clarks Branch. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
