Joyce Blanton

Mrs. Joyce Blanton age 68 of Brooksville, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011 in the Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 29, 1942 and was the daughter of Harry Colton and Ohio Katherin Halenbough and was the widow of Matt Blanton.

Survivors include, two sons, Matt Blanton, Jr. of Largo, Florida and Mark Blanton and wife Chris of Brooksville, Florida, three daughters, Ann Yount and husband Allen of St. Petersburg, Florida, Margaret Danna and husband James also of St. Petersburg and Barbara Blanton of Brooksville, Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Blanton will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Friends will be received at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m. Mrs. Blanton will be laid to rest in the Blackwater Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
