Johnny B. Mills
April 22, 1950 — February 5, 2015
Mr. Johnny B. Mills, our loving brother and daddy, age 64, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 in the Baptist Health Continued Care Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the son of Oscar and Nancy Messer Mills, born to them on Saturday, April 22, 1950 in Knox County, Kentucky. Johnny was a laborer for the KCEOC and enjoyed serving the Lord at Salem and Dewitt Baptist Church. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Mills and his children, Melissa and David Mills.
Johnny is survived by his loving mother, Nancy Mills of Mills, Kentucky; his sons, Matthew and Oscar Mills both of Barbourville, Kentucky: His brothers; Eddie (Bonnie) Mills, Willie B. Mills, and David Mills all of Mills, Kentucky. His dear sisters, Maggie Charlton (Sam) of Lexington, Kentucky and Ruby Stoots of Barbourville and a granddaughter, Holly Mills of Barbourville.
Funeral services for Johnny will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. AY Mills and Rev. Bud Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Mills Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday, February 8, 2015 after 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Monday after 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M.
