Mr. Johnny Reno Hamilton age 70 of Petersburg, Lane, Barbourville, KY passed away Tuesday November 20, 2007 in the Knox County Hospital. He was the son of the late Johnny Hamilton and (Ethel Shelton) Roach born to them on February 23, 1937 in Warren, KY. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Jones Hamilton who preceded him in death. Mr. Hamilton believed in the Pentecostal faith; he was a machinist for Gibson Greeting Card Company and loved to watch Football games. Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two sons Gregory Hamilton and Randy R. Neal and one brother Richard Roach.
He leaves behind two sons Michael Hamilton of Ohio and Jeffery Hamilton of Barbourville. Five brothers Jimmy B. Hamilton and wife Norma of Dayton, Ohio, David Lee Hamilton and wife Phronie of Dayton, Ohio, Randall Roach and wife Loretta of Barbourville, Sam Roach and wife Linda of Versallies, KY and William Roach and wife Rhonda of Barbourville. Four sisters Anna Ruth Sams and husband Charles of Dayton Ohio, Geneva Goins and Bill of Goshen, Ohio, Dorothy Jean Case and husband Danny of Bloomfield, KY and Nora Sue Burkhead and husband Terry of Willisburg, KY, he is also survived by five Grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Reno Hamilton will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Goins and the Rev. Terry Burkhead officiating. Pallbearer and Honorary Pallbearers will be Nephews. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery at Bailey Switch, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
