John Mills

Mr. John Mills age 65, of Bimble, KY passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at his residence. He was born on November 16, 1944 at Stoney Fork, KY to the union of Perry and Cora (Hubbard) Mills who preceded him in death. He was of the Holiness faith having been saved at an early age. He loved to hunt and go places.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Ewell Mills and Denver Mills, four sisters: Mary Longsworth, Helen Epperson, Millie Ann Mills and Lola Mills.
Survivors include his wife Sarah Mills of Bimble, one daughter, Samantha Honeycutt of Barbourville, one brother, William Mills of Franklin, OH, two sisters, Jenny Gray and husband James of Flat Lick and Jane Saylor of Stoney Fork, KY and by one grandchild. Mr. Mills also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. John Mills will conducted on Saturday July 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Holder, Rev. Freddy Johnson and Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery at Girdler with James Gray, James Warren, Richard Warren, Virgil Longsworth, Junior Longsworth, Bub Brown and Sam Castle, Jr. serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Finley Johnson, Larry Wagner, Perry Longsworth, James Gray and Dallas Mills. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Hampton Funeral Home and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 2:00 p.m.
