Jewelldean H. Burton, age 58, of Cannon, KY passed away Thursday morning August 2, 2012 at her residence. Jewelldean was the wife of David Burton and the daughter of Dave and Zelma Lee Hubbard. She was born on February 11, 1954 in Clay Co., KY. Mrs. Burton was a member of the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired nurse. Jewelldean was preceded in death by her parents Dave and Zelma Hubbard and one brother Tony Hubbard.
She is survived by her husband David of Cannon, KY, two sons, of David Burton and his wife Leanne of Somerset and Seth Burton and his wife Stacy of Cannon. Jewelldean is also survived by five brothers Howard, Jimmy, and Larry Hubbard all of Girdler, and Bobby and Terry Joe both of Hinkle, three sisters Janet Salmons of Manchester, Debbie Soberoski of Illinois, and Marcella Stratton of Jonesboro, Tennessee. Jewelldean also leaves behind two grandchildren Macelyn and Isabella along with a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jewelldean Burton will be conducted on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church at Brightshade, Kentucky with Rev. Herman Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Hubbard Cemetery at Brightshade. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening after 6:00 p.m. at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel and on Monday at the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church from 12noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m.
