Jessica Susan Bays age 28 of London, KY departed this life on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. She was the daughter of Patricia Bates and Marvin Bays. She was born on December 13, 1982 in Knox Co., KY. Jessica believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker. She liked to read and talk on the phone and loved her friends and loved people. She is preceded in death by her grandfather John Bays and her grandmother Patsy Lee Hatfield.
Left behind to mourn her passing her mother Patricia Bates and husband Danny of London, and her father, Marvin Bays and wife Ellen of Bimble, one daughter Chloe Elizabeth Kaitlin Bays , three sons, Cameron Shane Jackson, Jacob Adam Couch and Brayden Allen Vandenk all of London, two brothers, Mark Bays and wife Crystal and Travis Bays and wife Crystal all of Corbin, three sisters, Janessa Parker of London, Kendra Bates of Barbourville and Marlena Ellen Bays of Bimble and her grandmother Flora Bays of Barbourville, six nephews, Ryan, Maddox, Trevor, Conner, Preston and Jaxon and two nieces Rylee and Hailey. Jessica also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Jessica Bays will be conducted on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Columbus Hensley and Rev. Roger Hatfield officiating. Pallbearers will be family. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
