Mr. Jesse Wagner age 90 of Bimble, KY the husband of Betty Wagner passed away Wednesday night November 7, 2007 in the Knox Co. Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1917 in Knox Co., KY the son of Hubert Wagner and Polly (Hubbard) Wagner. Mr. Wagner was a sawmill worker and was a member of the Scalf Chapel Pentecostal Church. He loved to hunt, whittle and sharpen knives. He is preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Polly Wagner, one son, Raymond Wagner and two brothers, Nelson Gambrel and Walter Gambrel.
Survivors include, his wife Betty of Bimble, Ky., three sons, Bobby Price and wife Betty of Bimble, Ky., Bo Price and wife Jane of Heidrick, KY and Larry Wagner and wife Angie of Bimble, KY, two daughters, Sharon Wright and husband Danny of Bimble, KY and Sherry Jordan and husband T.J. of Road Fork, KY. Mr. Wagner also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild along with a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Wagner will be conducted on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Mooneyham, Rev. Ted Satterfield and Rev. Hobert Bingham officiating. Pallbearers will be Grandchildren of Mr. Wagner. Honorary Pallbearers will be: All family & friends and the nurses and staff of the Knox Co. Hospital. Burial will be in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
