Mr. Jesse Arthur Gibson, age 67 of Heidrick, KY the widower of Velma Lee Gibson departed this life on Sunday, December 16, 2007 in the Knox Co. Hospital. He was born on September 22, 1940 in Bell Co., KY the son of Frank and Dorothy Reynolds Gibson. Mr. Gibson was a Christian and believed in the Baptist Faith. He was a Carpenter and a Coal Miner during his life. Preceding him in death are his wife Velma Gibson, his parents, Frank and Dorothy Gibson and two brothers, Arnold Gibson and Carl Gibson .
Left behind to mourn his passing: One daughter, Rebecca Mills of Artemus, Ky., one son, Franky Gibson and wife Cheryl a special daughter in law, of Heidrick, five brothers, Estill Gibson of Artemus, Joe Gibson and wife Terry of Peoria, Illinois, Jerry Gibson and wife Tracy of California, Glenn Gibson and wife Connie of Fernly, Nevada and Darrell Gibson and wife Elaine of Livermore, California, two sisters, Brenda Pintabona and wife Tony of Ceres, California and Shirley Peyton and wife Danny of Madisonville, KY, four grandchildren, Nathan Parks and wife Annie, Jessica Mills, Eric Michael Gibson and Rachel Gibson and one special great granddaughter, Whitlea Marie Parks. Mr. Gibson also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Gibson will be conducted on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Hembree officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Mr. Gibson will be laid to rest in the Davis Cemetery at Davis Bend. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
