Jerry D. Mills

Mr. Jerry Duane Mills age 64 of Cannon, KY departed this life on Saturday, July 28, 2012 in the Knox Co. Hospital. He was the son of William Mills and Mary Lee Hammons Mills born to them on October 25, 1947 in Knox Co., KY. Mr. Mills was a member of the Sinking Valley Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army and was also a member of the Army National Guard for twenty four years.
He is survived by his two sons, Chris Mills and wife Karen and Matthew Mills all of Gray, KY, one brother, Conley Mills of Barbourville and four grandchildren, Tyler Mills, Katelyn Mills, Halle Brook Mills and Jackson Mills. He also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Mills will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. James Vandy officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Mr. Mills will be laid to rest in the Tuggle Cemetery at Heidrick, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
