J.B. Prichard

June 30, 1931 - July 2, 2009

Mr. J.B. Prichard age 78 of Barbourville, KY passed away Thursday,
July 2, 2009 in the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born on June 30, 1931 the son of Charlie Heath Prichard and Ruth Bryant Prichard. Mr. Prichard was a retired farmer and loved walking.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister in law, Charles and Lois Jackson Prichard.
Survivors include two brothers, Bobby Prichard of Little Poplar Creek and Marcus Bryant and wife Jennifer of Richmond, KY, one sister, Flossie Prichard Carmen and husband Jimmy of Rockholds, KY, one niece Donna Johnson and husband Doug of Little Poplar Creek, one great niece Darla Johnson and one great nephew Marcus Bryant II. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. J.B. Prichard will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday-July 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Denvil Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant Cemetery at Little Poplar Creek with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rabb Matlock, Junior Mckeehan, Roy Furgerson, Bill Oxendine and Jack Floyd. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at Hampton Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
