Mr. James Thomas Hukle (‘Tom’, ‘G-Pa’), age 61, departed this life on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his home in Gray, Kentucky. He was born on March 24, 1958 in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Lewis Lee and Dorothy (Mallory) Hukle. Tom united in marriage to Catherine (Delph) Hukle on December 13, 1980. He was a member of the Army National Guard, worked for Metropolitan Ambulance Service and most recently as a warehouse manager for Ferguson Enterprises. He was a member of the Baptist faith and an avid University of Kentucky fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Dorothy Hukle.
Left behind to mourn his passing are his loving wife Catherine Hukle, of Lexington, Kentucky, daughters Kara Elliott of Lexington, Kentucky, Sara Hukle (John Arballo) of Louisville, Kentucky, Kim Taulbee of Lexington, Kentucky, grandchildren Dejah Burch, Aniya Burch, Anthony Arballo and James Paul Jaxson Arballo, son-in-law Manjaro Burch of Louisville, Kentucky, brother Arthur Hukle of Lexington, Kentucky, sister Janice Hukle of Lexington, Kentucky, many cousins that he loved Joe, Pam and Susie, and special family friends, Susan and Gene Godby, Janet and Steve Brasfield, and Larry and Danny Reynolds. He is also survived by many relatives and friends in Lexington and Gray to mourn his passing.
Funeral arrangements for Mr. James Thomas Hukle are private at the request of the family. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 2089 Versailles Road, Lexington, Kentucky. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
