James Ernest Powell

Mr. James Ernest Powell, age 92 of Bimble, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, December 11, 2020 at home. He was the son of Carlo and Louise (Teague) Powell born to them on September 30, 1928 in Turkey Creek, Kentucky. He was united in marriage with Sarrah Mandalene Powell and to this union three children were born.  James was a member of Scalf Chapel.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carlo and Louise Powell, and his wife Sarrah Mandalene Powell.

Left behind to mourn his passing, two sons, Gary Powell and wife Teresa of Bimble, and Roger Powell of Bimble, one daughter, Terrisa Sutherland and husband Sam of Bimble, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, brothers Charles Powell and wife Helen, Carlo Powell, and Luke Powell and wife Dolly, all of Michigan.  He also leaves many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart, as well as many other friends and relatives who will mourn his passing.

Funeral services for James Ernest Powell will be private.  Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
