Mr. James Massingill age 70, of Alma Michigan passed away Tuesday in Michigan. He was born on April 14, 1940 in Knox County to Lunis and Hallie Hitshire Massingill. He was united in marriage to Janice Hensley Massingill.
Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one brother: Homer Massingill.
Survivors include three daughters: Rita McAllister and husband Wayne of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Margaret Seagle and husband Jeff of Swansea, N.C., Thelma Russell and husband Jim of Wheeler, Michigan. One sister: Helen Moore of Madison Heights, Michigan, seven Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for James Massingill will be conducted in the Hampton funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Artemus with family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
